We have exciting and fun programs for Trinity Kids throughout the year. A Calendar of Events is available for children, youth and family programs. Talk to Megan about upcoming events as well as add or update your contact information. There is a little something for everyone, so come out and remember to bring your friends. More kids means more fun!

Looking to the Fall! What’s happening in Sunday School?

We have had between 12 and 30 children & youth attending Trinity on Sunday mornings. They range in age from infant to 14-years-old. This is wonderful and must be supported! Because of the number of children and youth, our Sunday School needs your help and support.

We don’t need a big commitment, maybe just one or two Sundays out of the entire church year. There are different ways to help out and we’ve listed them below.

Types of Sunday School volunteers:

Teacher’s Helper
-          Arrive 15 minutes before the service starts to meet the teacher
-          Help children to listen and focus
-          Help with crafts and activities
-          Help with tidy-up
-          No preparation required

Volunteer Teacher
-          Plan the lesson with help from the Sunday School Coordinator, Sunday School Curriculum and other resources.
-          Prepare activities and crafts (you will have access to the supply room)
-          Help to set-up space before the service begins
-          Lead Sunday School (younger group) with help from Teacher’s Helper
-          Help with tidy-up

Volunteer with special talent
Do you have a special talent, skill or experience to share with the Sunday School and /or Youth Group? If so, we’d love to have you join us for a Sunday or an afternoon and share your gift! Some examples are listed below:

Arts & crafts, music, woodworking, cooking/baking, drama, dance, sewing/quilting, storytelling, camp games and activities, involvement with a charitable organization (i.e. Table Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, Leprosy Mission, Grandmothers to Grandmothers, etc.) The list could be endless!
