2012 Annual Meeting Summary - There was an excellent turnout (over 80) at this meeting held Sunday, February 5th following worship. All reports in the Annual Report (available under the 'Events' tab) were approved. The final financial figures for 2011 were not as encouraging with a loss reported (expenditures exceeded income). Past surpluses enabled us to get through this past year. An excellent presentation and discussion allowed for an informed acceptance of the 2012 budget with the acknowledgement that givings need to be increased if possible (7.6%) and fundraising a 2012 priority. A Narrative Budget (see details under the 'Events' tab) was also presented as another way to look at the areas covered. Trinity’s continued presence and work in and around the community IS IMPORTANT to all. We are blessed with a dedicated council, staff and most importantly, congregation – YOU! Thank you for your continued support. If you have questions, please talk to any one of the Council Executive (a listing appears under Groups and Committees).
Please note: The 2011 Events have been archived and are available for you to access on the ‘Events’ page in the upper right-hand corner by clicking on 'Archive' if needed.
From 'A Song of Faith'
We offer worship
as an outpouring of gratitude and awe
and a practice of opening ourselves
to God’s still, small voice of comfort,
to God’s rushing whirlwind of challenge.
Through word, music, art, and sacrament,
in community and in solitude,
God changes our lives, our relationships, and our world.
We sing with trust.
